Select Body of Work
In today’s world, joy can feel like a luxury; something we’re constantly reaching for but rarely holding onto.
Colored in Joy isn’t rooted in circumstances. It’s not the kind of joy that disappears when life gets hard or uncertain. It’s deeper. Steadier. Anchored.
This is a joy that exists in the midst of the waiting, the becoming, and the healing. A joy that says, “Even here, Even now.” It’s not loud or showy. Sometimes it looks like peace. Sometimes it looks like choosing to keep going. But it always points us back to something unshakable.

Whose behind the work
Hi I'm Lauren Lane,
I am a figurative and abstract painter based in Atlanta, Georgia. My work centers on light, joy, and resilience, drawing from the everyday moments that shape who we become. I create vibrant oil paintings that celebrate people from a place of freedom, dignity, and hope.
My approach is rooted in the belief that when we shift how we see ourselves, we shift how we move through the world. Color plays a huge role in that for me. It’s my way of speaking life, possibility, and joy into each piece.
Beyond the canvas, I’m committed to helping people feel seen, inspired, and encouraged to pursue what lights them up. My goal is to create work that brings peace into everyday spaces while reminding people of their own beauty, strength, and story.
